BEHIND THE LENS
Meghan Herald began practicing photography in 2000 while attending high school and from there decided to further her education by enrolling at Buffalo State College where she earned her BFA in Photography in 2010. She had the privilege of studying under world renowned photographer Les Krims. In addition to her studies she gained further knowledge by being asked to work as an assistant to the Buffalo State University photographer, Bruce Fox. Through this she gained hands on experience while shooting assignments at various events as well as commercial/portrait studio shoots. Meghan Herald currently resides in Buffalo, NY and aside from her digital work, she enjoys running her own darkroom as well as working on retouches and repairs to damaged photographs.
